Korrö – where nature is right around the corner!
Most people who come here for the first time are awe-struck by the surroundings, both by the natural environment and the crafts.

A Brief History of Korrö
Corra mill is mentioned in books dating back to the 17th century. By the end of the 19th century, Korrö was a thriving location boasting a tannery, a dye-works, a saw mill, a grain mill and a general store to name just a few enterprises. This is where the Ronneby river divides, forming an island connected by two old stone bridges. The story of Korrö’s crafts came to a close in 1948 when the last of the operations was shut down. However, at the old mill, the saw mill and the dye-works, one can pay a visit to see how the work was done in the days of yore.

The youth hostel has had a presence on Korrö ever since 1950. Today there are 15 buildings, four of which are run as youth hostels. The Korrö nature reserve was founded in the beginning of the 1970’s.

Feel free to wander around in the Korrö craft village – take a look into the old buildings and relax in the rustic ambience. Tours can be organised for large groups.

The Youth Hostel
STF Korrö youth hostel offers overnight accommodation (93 beds in 23 rooms, most with showers and lavatories of their own) and many exciting activities. Hiking through the nature reserve, paddling canoes and fishing expeditions all await the adventurous visitor

Great Food in a Fantastic Setting!

Körro Restaurant & Café lies right on the bank of the river. Sit indoors if you like or out on the veranda where you can see the rolling waterfall. The restaurant is a suitable venue for dining, having coffee and holding conferences. Our speciality is grilled poultry, fish or game served on a wooden plank.

We look forward to seeing you!
The best way to experience Korrö is to see it with your own eyes! You are always welcome whether you come alone, with family or perhaps even on a company function!
