Sleeping outside is a nature experience that more people should try!

Here are the municipality's wind shelters:

- Toftåsa Myr, Ryd:
This rest area is beautifully located by Åsnen's beach and directly adjacent to Åsnen's national park. You can get here either by bicycle via the Banvallsleden or by canoe via the Värendsleden. Here there is a windbreak, barbecue area, toilet and garbage can.

- Granö, Ryd:
This resting place is beautifully located on the southern shore of the Hönshyltefjord and is also the terminus of the Värendsleden. Here there is a windbreak, barbecue area, dry bag and dustbin.

- Sundsnäs Jätsbygd, Urshult:
This rest area is beautifully located by the shore of lake Åsnen. You can only get here by canoe via the Värendsleden. Here there is a windbreak, barbecue area, toilet and garbage can.

- Åskefällalund, Älmeboda:
This rest area is located on the eastern shore of lake Kinnen along the emigrant hiking trail. Here there is a windbreak, barbecue area, toilet and garbage can.

-Klostergrottan, Flisehult:
This place has been a place for rest and recovery since time immemorial. From the summer of 2024, there will be a wind shelter, fireplace, toilet and garbage can here.

In the places with wind protection, you and your party take care of yourselves. Only make fire in the arranged fireplaces located by the windbreaks. If there is a fire ban, you may not lit a fire at all. Keep an eye out for possible fire bans on the County Administrative Board Kronoberg's website (Länsstyrelsen Kronoberg)!

Don't forget to follow the rights and obligations for beeing out in the nature by taking care of our campsites so other people can enjoy them after you have left. You throw away rubbish when you get home or in the gargage can by the windbreak.
