At the lake Norra Svansjön lies a small natural forest area consisting of pine, spruce and beech trees. The ground is flat slopes gently towards the nutrient poor lake.

Nature reserve Midingsbråte
At the lake Norra Svansjön lies a small natural forest area consisting of pine, spruce and beech trees. The ground is flat slopes gently towards the nutrient poor lake.
The purpose of the reserve is to preserve the old beech, pine and spruce forest of the area, promote the regrowth of beech and pine and to enhance the natural habitat in form of dead or dying hardwood for the organisms living in the area.
